Big companies including IBM, Context Labs, Ford and BMW announced their alliance at this season’s Futures Blockchain Summit in Dubai and also have shaped the Mobility Open Blockchain Initiative (MOBI). MOBI will explore further blockchain usage and examine how it can lower the price and increase the security and accessibility to transportation all over the world.

Through an open-source business layout, MOBI is aiming to boost blockchain adoption among businesses that either develop or send autonomous car and mobility services. Up to now, the group has delivered invitations to different automakers, public transportation operators, toll road providers, blockchain companies, technology companies, academic institutions, startup entrepreneurs and global regulatory bodies to unite the reason.
