Abu Dhabi Ports Launches First Domestic Blockchain Solution for Logistics

The logistics and shipping industry remains highly enthusiastic about creating blockchain solutions, together with the World Economic Forum estimating the technology could save 20 percent of the total costs of physical transportation globally and FedEx CEO calling it that the “next frontier” for global supply chains.

Maqta Gateway has grown and established Silsal — a blockchain-based engineering that aims to improve efficiency in the shipping and logistics industry.

Along with the blockchain, Maqta Gateway has established their own system for digital identity that may encrypt all sorts of transportation documents. “This,” Dr. Noura Al Dhaheri says “will remove the demand for access through passwords which can often be a safety threat. ”
